Our pair of mini natural wooden eggs are beautifully smooth & make the perfect addition to your Spring craft, imaginative play, decorations or using them as counting tools.
We love getting creative with our wooden eggs.
Here are some of our favourite Easter activities we like to do in our home with wooden eggs that you can try at home too!
- DIY birds nest with decorated eggs
- experiment with different plant dyes to colour them
- decorate with paint, a sprinkle of some dried botanicals or eco glitter
- decorate by glueing on pressed flowers and/or crystal chips
- Personalise with names & give as gifts
- Use in our imaginative play. What will it be today? Dino eggs? Chicken? Lizard? Create a theme & feature the eggs in a special nest.
- Imaginative play in the home corner kitchen
- A wonderful addition to loose parts play & numeracy play
- Use in sensory play. Pair with some playdough & cutters for a quick Easter theme sensory play invitation. We love adding coloured rice, dried botanicals and/or eco glitter too.
Our mini wooden eggs measure approximately 3.3cm x 2.2cm in size and fit perfectly in our mini vine nest (sold seperately)
